An old center of coppersmithing is located deep in the mountains of the Caucasus in Lahic in Azerbaijan. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were 120 blacksmiths in the village who produced everyday items such as water jugs, bowls and trays. Even today there are coppersmiths in Lahic that keep the old handicrafts alive.
