Shirin Zhalilova is living in Tashkent/Uzbekistan.
2008: graduated from the Tashkent State School of National Dance and Choreography.
2012: graduated from the Institute of Group Choreography Heads‘ Department.
2014: finished the master course of the Academy of Choreography as Teacher-Choreographer.
She has been member of the State Song and Dance Ensemble „Uzbekistan“. At present she works at the Academy of Choreography as a teacher for Uzbek Dance and Ballet Master.
In 2011 Shirin was a laureate of the State Competition of National Dance named after M. Turgunbaeva, in 2017 of the National Competition „Bukhoro Gillolari“ and participated in all nationwide concerts.
Each time she performed in the International Festival „Sharq Taronalari“ which is held once in two years in the Samarkand. As a solo dancer she performed on the occasion of the Uzberk Independence Day celebrations, participated in concerts of the „Uzbek Cultural Ties“ in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan and in the 2009 Song and Dance Festival in Taiwan.
In Austria she performed in the cultural centres „Sargfabrik“ (Vienna), „Spielboden“ (Dornbirn) and „kulturbahnhof Andelsbuch“and was part of the musical programme of the exhibition on „Austrians as prisoners of war in Russian Turkestan in the First World War“ in the Vorarlberg Museum in Bregenz (2016).
In 2018 Shirin took part in the Festival des Folklores du Monde d’Alencon“ (France) where 20 countries share their culture and traditions. 2019 she participated in the Uzbekistan Days organized by KultEurasia in Vienna and in a Nawruz Celebration in Taiwan.
